警備会社「ガードキーパーズ」の警備員・朝比奈準人は、警備の中で最も危険でスキルを求められる“4号警備”の任務を命じられる。朝比奈は、とある挫折のために警察官を辞めて、警備の世界に入っていた。相棒役に指名されたのは、石丸賢吾というさえない中年男性。かつては企業の社長だった石丸は、警備会社では慎重過ぎる性格から“臆病者”のレッテルを張られている人物だった。
互いに文句を言い合い、対立してばかりの2人だったが、次第に身辺警護の仕事を通じて、クライアントたちの生きざまに触れ、自身の過去とも向き合うようになる。

Description
